COVID-19 Public Health Emergency (PHE) Extended
The COVID-19 public health emergency (PHE) has been extended an additional 90 days by The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Azar. This extension means that all telehealth and other waivers / flexibilities that have been implemented since the beginning of the PHE will remain in effect until at least April 21, 2021. Be sure to check your state-specific guidance on elective medical procedures.

Medicare/Medicaid Telemedicine
In response to calls to improve healthcare access during the COVID-19 Crisis, audio-only telephone visits, according to CMS, are now able to be reimbursed at the same rate as office and outpatient visits. View the CMS press release.
